(The chapter opens with Tenebris facing the masked man both of their eyes glowing light blue. ) 

Tenebris: How did you get in here!? 

(The masked man unsheathes a dagger and throws it in front of tenebris. tenebris looks down and its the key blade karri lost. ) 

Masked man: The messenger gave this to me. 

Tenebris: A messenger? 

(Arthor, Karri, and lykoi rush outside and see the masked man) 

Masked man: You have quite the company. My mission was only you (he points to Tenebris), I don't want to have to hurt anyone else. 

Arthor: You think you can invade our home and we'll just sit back and do nothing. (his eyes glow green as he takes out his weapons) 

Karri: if you want him your going to have to go through us! (he grabs his daggers and his eyes spark yellow) 

Machi: Johsef's going to eat all the food if yall leave it... aye whose that guy? 

Masked man: I will ask this one last time. Hand over the man with bandages. 

Arthor: and we're telling you it aint happening. 

Masked man: Then so be it. I am truly sorry for your decision. 

Tenebris: I'm sorry for yours. (his eyes light up and tenebris disappears, lykoi pulls out his pistol and shoots several bolts at the man who stands still and the bullets disappear before they get close. Tenebris appears behind the man and goes to punch him, but the man is already side eyeing tenebris behind him. Tenebris eye's stop glowing as he tries to punch him, the man moves his head slightly and dodges tenebris strike. Tenebris throws a couple more punches but the man dodges them and swipes his scythe around, tenebris disappears. Karri and arthor run in, karri throws his chain daggers with lightning behind them. as soon as they get close to the man the lightning stops and he bats them away. Karri dashes in and goes to jump at him but his eyes stop glowing and the man moves out of the way. Arthor tries to swipe with both blades at the man, but his eyes stop glowing when he gets close and the man blocks both with his scythe. karri wraps the chains around the mans scythe from behind him and tries to pull it away, but the mans scythe doesn't move. Arthor goes to kick the man. t man blocks it with his hand and he throws arthor and karri away. Tenebris appears and catches both of them and sets them down.) 

Machi: Alright, no one interrupts my dinner! (his eyes start blazing red and a veil of red energy covers him. he runs in and takes out his axes and slams both down on the man who puts up his scythe and blocks both as the ground beneath them craters in)

Masked man: (his eyes glow brighter and Machi's veil of red energy starts to fade as the mans eyes turn red and he starts overpowering machi. until he spins his scythe and knocks machis axes away and hits him with the end of it and sends machi flying back through tenebris' window. ) 

(Machi lands next to the table and johsef looks at the window and gets angry and starts pecking him)

Machi: ow ow, sorry, ow. (it cuts back outside)

Karri: what's going on with this guy, we cant touch him.

Arthor: I cant use orku near him. is he using chaos? 

Tenebris: no, I cant sense anything like that.

Masked man: Please reconsider fighting. This is your last chance. 

Tenebris: Remember what I said earlier? 

Everyone: right! ( Tenebris eyes light up light blue. ) If you want me so bad come on then. 

Masked man: (he takes a step forward and Lykoi shoots multiple orku bolts at him and karri sends his chains. the energy from Lykoi's pistols fades off of several bullets that fly at the man who deflects them with his scythe. karri's chains loose their lightning as they get close. as he side steps them, tenebris appears behind him and grabs the chains. ) 

Tenebris: Now! (arthor plays his violencia and green energy surrounds karri who starts running around the man with tenebris) 

Masked man: That wont work. (his eyes glow light blue and he goes to slash the chains) 

Machi: No you don't! (his eyes light up and he picks up his axes and throws them and they hit his scythe up. tenebris and karri wrap the chains around his arms. Ulfer runs in and grabs the scythe out of his hands) The man struggles as machi grabs the chain from karri and tenebris pulls the other. 

(Arthor and lykoi start running in) 

Masked man: (his eyes light up and a light blue aura burst out from him and the surrounding area gets covered with dark blue energy. Ulfer, Karri, and Arthor suddenly fall down. Lykoi and Machi, fall to one knee. machi lets go of the chain. Tenebris still stands and holds the chain, but the man grabs the chain and sends Tenebris flying into into a run down house. The man calmly walks over to his scythe and picks it up from next to ulfer. he walks towards tenebris without paying attention to anyone. ) 

Arthor: (almost passing out) what's going on, my body wont move....

Karri: (same as arthor) Stop! come back and fight us....

Masked Man: You have no energy left to fight, please do not attempt anything, you might get hurt. 

Machi: oh yeah? (slowly stands back up) your really starting to piss me off. (his eyes light up red again) 

Masked man: (stops and looks at him) you...are you a descendant of the giants? 

Machi: It doesn't matter what I am, as long as I'm strong enough to beat you. (his veins start glowing red and the ground around him starts getting darker) 

Masked man: standing alone is impressive, but you are actually gaining strength. you will be a power warrior one day. 

Machi: what do you mean one day!? (he steps forward and the ground cracks as he dashes forward he starts a punch and the man prepares to block it, but machi punches the ground and energy burst from below and it starts crumbling towards the man. He looses his balance and jumps back into the air.) 

Machi: If I cant use Orku near you, I'll just use pure muscle! (he grabs a wall of a run down house , brakes it off and throws it at the man in the air. The man slices it in half and sees multiple other big objects flying at him. he jumps and slashes through all of them then sees machi flying towards him. Machi throws a punch that the man blocks. Machi smiles and grabs the scythe and spins and throws the man down and he crashes through ruins of the town) (The man stands up and looks up and sees machi flying down at him he jumps back and machi slams down into the ground and red energy explodes out as the ruins get destroyed) 

Machi: (stands up and tries to catch his breath) He's done now for sure....

(the smoke dissipates quickly and the man is standing completely unphased with his eyes glowing) 

Machi: What!? (his eyes light up and he throws a punch but the man catches it and red energy starts draining from machi, who falls to his knees) ( it cuts to tenebris checking on the others and helping them up) 

Arthor: That man, he's not Kongur. 

Tenebris: how do you know? 

Arthor: If he was we would all be dead right now. 

Karri: something's coming. (the man walks out of the smoke with his eyes glowing and dragging machi behind him. He tosses machi over to the others) 

Masked man: Next. 

CHAPTER 101 DEATH 

Tenebris: can you stand? 

Arthor: yeah. 

Tenebris: Jaeja, get the others out of here so they can recover some orku. 

Arthor: what are you going to do? 

Tenebris: I have an idea I have to test. 

Karri: were not leaving you.

Tenebris: I'll be fine. (Jaeja grabs karri's arm. )

Karri: No!

Arthor Karri , we have to go come on!

Arthor: (looks back) be careful. 

Tenebris: (Smiles as he disappears) 

(Lykoi's eyes glow and he picks up machi and they all start running away. Tenebris Appears next to the man and throws a punch but the man blocks it with his scythe)

Man: You made the right decision, getting them out of the way. 

Tenebris: if it's me you want then that's what you'll get. (Tenebris eyes start glowing light blue. the man swings his scythe but tenebris disappears and reappears behind him. the man spins his scythe and blocks tenebris strike. tenebris disappears and reapers multiple times each time the man deflects his attacks. Tenebris appears above him and slams down with a kick that the man jumps out of the way of. tenebris leaves a crater. ) 

Man: quite impressive, even with the little orku you possesses you can move at that speed.  

Tenebris: I'm just getting started. (tenebris disappears and reappears in front of the man who puts his scythe out to block but tenebris grabs it and pushes it out of the way and lands a hit on the man who staggers back. Tenebris tries to follow up but the man slams his scythe on the ground and energy burst from the ground. Tenebris jumps back as the man swipes multiple time and sends crescent slashes of orku at tenebris who blocks all of them with his sealed arm. The man spins around and throws his scythe at tenebris who bends back barely dodging it as it cuts clean through several trees. they start fighting hand to hand and Tenebris gets the upper hand as he kicks the man back he slides back. Tenebris appears and goes to strike him, but the mans eyes glow like fire and tenebris energy goes out and the man catches tenebris punch. He stands up and punches tenebris who tries to block but gets sent flying through a bunch of trees. Tenebris tries to stand up but the man appears with his scythe and slashes down at tenebris whose eye's light up and he catches the blade between his hands. The man's eyes start getting brighter as tenebris eyes start loosing energy and the scythe gets closer to tenebris until he dodges out of the way and the man slams his scythe into the ground causing a big explosion. it cuts to the gang walking away and they see the explosion. ) 

Arthor: I feel so useless! four years of training and I'm still not strong enough. 

Jaeja: That man is as strong as Tenebris, you shouldn't compare yourself to him. 

Arthor: Why not! I've spent every day of the past four years so that I can fight along side him, and all I have are these useless things (he throws his violencia down) 

Karri: their not useless. 

Arthor: you say, you got actual weapons and I get to play a few chords. why couldn't I just have gotten a sword or dagger, something...something that I can fight with. (he punches a tree as he does it cuts to the man punching a tree and it shattering. Tenebris keeps dodging back as they go deeper into the forest. The man swipes down at tenebris who doges, but the man twist his scythe and grabs tenebris leg with it and sweeps it out from under him. Tenebris does a back hand spring and jumps up into a tree and starts jumping from branch to branch. The man starts running after him, cutting down multiple trees. 

Tenebris: who sent you after me? 

Man: The king of Egran. 

Tenebris: Egran? I think you have the wrong person (he grabs a branch and swings down and kicks the man who blocks with his scythe and slides back) I helped free Egran. 

Man: I don't question the ones who give me my missions. ( he throws his scythe and tenebris jumps up onto a tree branch, as the scythe sticks into a tree the man grabs it and cuts down the tree and tenebris looses his balance and falls. The man swings at tenebris who blocks with his sealed arm and gets sent flying. Tenebris rolls and catches himself. he looks at his seals and there's a small tear in them. ) 

Tenebris: (thinking) his scythe must be made of malmite if it cut through these seals. who is this guy? (the man walks towards tenebris with energy like fire emanating off of himself and objects around him. ) Hope this works. (Tenebris starts running again and the man follows) 

Man: No matter where you go on this island I will find you. make this easier for everyone and give up. 

(Tenebris stops an turns around) 

Tenebris: (eyes start glowing like fire) I cant do that, I have people counting on me.

Man: then they will be disapointed. ( the man goes to slash at tenebris whose hand starts glowing with energy) That wont work! (the mans eyes glow but tenebris energy doesn't go out and tenebris lands a clean hit on the mans face and an explosion of blue energy burst from the impact and the mans mask cracks as he goes flying back)

Tenebris: ( standing in front of Yggdrasil ) You may be able to absorb all the orku I can generate, but even you cant absorb infinite energy. 

( The mans on one knee with his eyes glowing. ) 

Tenebris: Now we even the playing field. (his eyes start glowing light blue as he stands in front of Yggdrasil which is glowing with energy) 

CHAPTER 102 HUNGER 

(The man stands up with his eyes glowing) 

Man: don't underestimate me. (his eyes blaze and multi coloured energy stars swirling around him. ) 

(they both run at each other and clash with a massive surge of energy. Tenebris striking multiple times in a second. the man absorbing energy from each strike, he swipes at tenebris who catches the handle of the blade and hits the mans wrist causing him to drop the it. they trade several hand to hand blows each landing with a small burst of energy. The mans eyes blaze as he punches tenebris who blocks it but gets his arm broken and sent back quite a bit. Tenebris eyes glow black for a moment and his arms cracks. the man kicks up his scythe and grabs it to swing at tenebris  who dodges  but the man spins and hits tenebris in the stomach with the end of his scythe then slices upward cutting off some of tenebris hair as he moves back. Tenebris jumps back and grabs some loose rocks and throws them with blue energy at the man who spins his scythe and deflects all of them. Tenebris appears behind the man and swings at him but the man catches tenebris arm and throws him over his shoulder. Tenebris lands and sweeps at the mans legs. the man jumps over his leg and starts swinging wildly at tenebris who dodges most of the strikes but the man steps on tenebris foot which throws him off balance and slices tenebris acrost the chest as he staggers back, his eyes flash black and his wound closes. the man swings down at tenebris who side steps and lands an upper cut with a burst of energy to the mans face. sending him back and knocking his mask off.

Tenebris: (out of breath holds his left arm and looks at the man on his knees)(tenebris eyes go wide) it cant be.... 

(The man looks up at tenebris and he has teal eyes and white hair) 

Tenebris: Your Tempurian.  

Man: Tempura's gone. (he picks up his scythe and  swings at tenebris) 

(Tenebris jumps back) 

Tenebris: wait, we don't have to fight! 

Man: You didn't have a problem fighting me before. 

Tenebris: I didn't know you were Tempurian before. 

Man: what does that matter! 

Tenebris: I'm Tempurian too. 

Man: doesn't change the fact your still my target. 

Tenebris: This is incredible that another Tempurian is alive and you don't care? 

Man: NO! I have to defeat you! (his eyes burst with energy and a massive surge of dark blue energy starts covering the ground. Tenebris puts his sealed arm out to block all the energy. it covers a massive area of the forest even covers Yggdrasil but stops at the crystal. ) 

(Tenebris looks up and the mans in front of him. the man punches tenebris before he could react and sends him into Yggdrasil, the man grabs tenebris and slams him into the massive tree, blood spews from tenebris nose and mouth. The man lands multiple hits on tenebris who tries to block but gets overpowered. Tenebris dodges a punch and dive rolls away and starts backing up as his eyes flash black. The man dashes at tenebris who tries to ignite his energy but cant. )

Tenebris: (thinking) what!? 

(the man punches tenebris in the face as tenebris flips back his eyes glow black and he lands n his feet. it cuts back over to the gang. massive explosions going off in the distance. )

Karri: Tenebris needs our help. 

Arthor: what help would we even be? we couldn't even get close to that guy, let alone land a hit. we're useless. 

Lykoi: our orku hasn't even recovered yet. 

Karri: then what are we going to do? just sit here and let tenebris fight that guy alone, do you not remember what happened in Egran!? 

Arthor: I remember everything that happened, that's why we cant fight him! 

Karri: Jaeja say something?  

Jaeja: what am I supposed to say, I can barely use orku myself. 

Karri: If none of you are going to help I'll do it myself! (his eyes park with lightning as he turns and starts running.) 

Arthor: Karri! agrhg, that..(Arthor starts running after him) 

(It cuts back to tenebris and the man fighting. Tenebris blocks serval attacks and lands some hits but they dont affect the man. they continue fighting until the man kicks tenebris back. the man flip kicks down ontop of tenebris who blocks him above his head, the ground brakes beneath them. the man lands and tackles tenebris to the ground. the man starts swinging wildly as tenebris tries to block but cant move, blood spitting from tenebris mouth. the man grabs the scythe next to them and  lifts it above his head) 

Karri: Tenebris! (running towards the battlefield) 

(The mans eyes go wide and he stops the blade before he slices tenebris. ) 

Man: Tenebris...? (Karri runs in and tackles the man off of tenebris) 

(tenebris eyes flash black and his wounds begin to heal) 

(karri grabs the man and tries to punch him but it has no affect.) 

Man: what are you doing! do you want to die!? 

Karri: No, But I want tenebris to live! (karri tries to fight him but the man grabs his arm and throws him to the side. as he does Tenebris appears from behind karri  and punches the man with sealed arm and he goes flying back into Yggdrasil and slams into the tree and passes out, all the energy from him fades from the battle field)  

CHAPTER 103 UNMASKED 

(the chapter opens with Johsef pecking the mans face) 

Man: ow, wakes up, agh. 

karri: johsef stop that! (grabs him) 

Man: (sits up quickly) (the gang are standing around him)

Tenebris: good, your awake. 

Man: why didn't you finish me? 

Tenebris: We don't really do that kinda thing. I need you to answer some questions. 

Man: but I hurt you, your my target, I almost killed you. 

Tenebris: but you didn't. Now start talking, who are you. 

Man: alright...My name is Svangur. A messenger from Egran gave me the mission to bring you back to Egran. he said you were a rogue royal knight from Egran. I had no idea who you were. 

Arthor: what did this messenger look like? 

Svangur: He was a big guy with brown hair and a beard. 

Karri: Gregor. 

Svangur: I didn't catch his name. I don't ask questions.

Tenebris: the man who sent you, he wasn't from Egran. 

Svangur: that's impossible, my location isn't known to anyone but the leaders of the kingdom powers. my island doesn't even appear on a map, he couldn't find me without being a royal. 

Arthor: Raxis must've sent gregor to find him before we entered Egran. 

Tenebris: you said only the royals know your island, why? 

Svangur: Well, that's a long story. 

Tenebris: I've spent decades looking for another Tempurian, I can sit through a story. (it cuts to The man sitting at tenebris table. Tenebris sets down some tea in front of him and sits down. ) 

Arthor: (Standing in the corner) I still don't trust this guy. 

Karri: he seems to know tenebris. plus you said it yourself, if he were Kongur he would have acted like it. 

Arthor: still how did he know we were on this island? 

(it cuts over to tenebris and Svangur talking) 

Svangur: I apologies for attacking you. normally they task me with taking out threats, but its clear that you do not fit that description. 

Machi: speak for yourself buddy.

Svangur: I hope none of you feel sick, I try to minimize the distance of my gift, but I cant fully control it. 

Lykoi: So you were the sickness in Longra milli

Svangur: unfortunately yes. that was me. 

Tenebris: How did you survive the fall of Tempura? 

Svangur: well, I didn't really. I was taken as a prisoner, but the rulers saw the potential I had and kept me as an assassin for rogue royal knights. They Locked me up on an island in Apcee. one that no one could find, at least not easily. that's where I spent my time between missions. how did you survive, I mean I thought you were dead. when the war started, you went missing? After a while people assumed you died. 

Tenebris: I wish I could tell you...but my memory of that time is scares. I cannot tell you how incredible finding another Tempurian is.  

Svangur: Its a pleasant surprise for me as well. 

Arthor: so what are you going to do now? The Kongur don't accept failure. 

Svangur: I will take care of it. if the man who hired me truly is a member of this Kongur, then my mission has changed. Thank you for everything. you showed kindness even after all I did. 

Tenebris: we are not defined by our past...all of us can testify to that. 

Svangur: then you all are greater men than me. 

Machi: True. (Jaeja smacks machi in the back of the head) Ow, I was joking. 

Svangur: If that is all, I should get going.  (it cuts to Tenebris standing with Svangur and Jaeja on the shore)

Svangur: (puts his scythe in the small boat he took to get to the island) 

Tenebris: You are welcome to stay. 

Svangur: thank you for the offer, but I have other reason to go back to my island. 

Tenebris: Then take this. (gives him the key blade) you will always be welcome here. just don't try and kill us next time. 

Svangur: It was an honor to meet you Tenebris. 

Tenebris: likewise. 

(Svangur pushes the boat and hops in) 

Tenebris: you owe me a window by the way! 

Jaeja: well, you have no shortage of fun around here do ya. 

Tenebris: Funs a word for it. (its silent for a moment) 

Jaeja: Tenebris, if the Kongur knew you were here, then there's no hiding from this. 

Tenebris: I know. 

Jaeja: they gave Svangur one key blade, but whose to say they don't have another one.  

Tenebris: no one. even if they do, I believe we are ready for what comes next. 

Jaeja: I hope so. (puts out his left hand. Tenebris shakes it) stay safe Tenebris. 

Tenebris: you too. 

(Jaeja turns around and gets into the boat and starts sailing away. after a bit 2 white lights flash and tenebris is left staring out at the water) 

CHAPTER 104 NOT THE ONLY ONE

(The chapter opens with a small town at night, the panel cuts to a window outside a house. Sam goes flying through the window and flips to catch herself. she is fully armored up. A massive demon crashes through the wall and charges at Sam who puts her sword up. before it reaches Sam, Keira flies in with her weapons and stabs the demon and takes it down. she cuts the demons head off and it stops moving and disappears into black energy) 

Sam: that's the last of them. 

Keira: that makes 7 towns in the last month. The attacks are getting more frequent and more bold. we have to find Raxis, or whoever's doing this before they reach a major city. 

Sam: Keira. (Keira looks over and sees Sam looking down at something. she walks over and looks at a man in legionary armor holding his hands out in fear his skin like stone.) 

Sam: Petrification. by the looks of it, it happened almost instantly.

Keira: Legionary armor, just like the rest of them.  It's like something is eating orku. 

Sam: the demons? 

Keira: No, they kill their prey before they eat, this man was alive when his orku was taken. 

Sam: what does it mean?

Keira: It means we need to stop the  Kongur before they can cause more damage. (they start walking away as legionary transports pull up) 

( a man with black armor and a pink jacket steps out of the car and walks up to Keira and Sam. with a few other legionaries beside him)

Man: I didn't expect to see a immortal here. , (he bows) at your service. 

Keira: Good, a royal knight of Elvo, tell your men to find all survivors and take them to the nearest hospital to be examined for a black energy. 

Ace: We'll make sure everyone here is takin care of, but I would like to know what an immortal is doing all the way out here. 

Keira: We have been chasing the trail of the Kongur's leader. (she takes out rolled up piece of paper from her belt) we have a passage clause from Trinity. 

Ace: well then, Cant argue with the holy law. how can we be of service. 

Keira: have you seen a any of these people around. (she pulls out a small note book with pictures of the Kongur members on each page with the words wanted, location unknown. ) 

Ace: hmm (takes the note book) cant say I have. I'll send some men to the surrounding towns, see if they have any information for ya. (hands the notebook back) these Kongur must be mighty strong if they got someone like you looking for em. 

Keira: strong and dangerous. if any legionary master class or below finds one, do not engage wait for royal knight back up.

Ace: you got that.

(the legionary standing next to him): Right. (salutes and walks off) 

Ace: Anything else I can do for you lovely ladies. 

Keira: actually a place to stay would be great, we've been on the move for several weeks now. 

Ace: certainly. there is an inn in a village north of here. Ill have a transport take you there. 

Keira and Sam: thank you. (it cuts to Sam laying back on a bed in her pajamas. ) 

Sam: ahh. 

Keira: (Places her armor on a stand) Something on your mind? 

Same: no, well, yeah. I'm just wondering how Tenebris and the others are doing. 

Keira: I'm sure there living a safe and peaceful life right now.

Sam: they said they were on an island off the Elvinian archipelago right? we should totally visit them. 

Keira: That's in the opposite direction of where we are supposed to go. besides we couldn't risk loosing the Kongur's trail. 

Sam: yeah, I figured you were going to say that. 

Keira: Don't worry, we'll see them again. it might not be for a while, but we will see them again.

Sam: yeah. 

Keira: (pulls the blanket back and gets into bed) but until then, you shouldn't worry about them. 

Sam: right. (silence for a bit) it must be scary you know. 

Keira: what is? 

Sam: being so young and being caught up in all of this. I mean, I've been trained since I was born to be a legionary, but Arthor and karri...there just kids. I just don't understand why the creator would allow them to go through all that. 

Keira: If there's anything I've learned, it's that we cant understand the plans the creator has for us. sometimes we just have to wait on him. I know its hard to ask that...but sometimes its all we can do. 

Sam: (looks up at the ceiling thinking) 

Keira: but for right now, get some sleep. you're going to need all the energy you can get. 

Sam: yeah...yeah. 

Keira: night Sam.  

Sam: night. 

Keira: (turns out the light) 

CHAPTER 105 PURSIT
