Dárali

Known: Echo Trail

Core Idea:

Mark a target (beast or kin) with a faint shard can be followed.

Wáni can sense the direction and distance through musical cues.

Effect:

Mark:

The Wáni plays a short melody while the target is within 10 feet. A tiny shard glowing green flies out from the Wáni's bracelet attach to the target. The air around the target sparkles with green sprinkles visible only to the Wáni.

Trace:

The Wáni plays a quick melody produces a visible sparkle trail. Wáni faces the correct direction only they hear the sound. The mélodi volume increases making the trail more vivid. If the Wáni veers off course makes the notes fade slightly. Their ears don’t pick up the mélodi as the volume diminishes. Wáni will start noticing they are going the wrong way. The mélodi lingers as long as the Wáni maintains concentration guiding toward the target.

Shard:

Pífe Shard

Instrument:

Pávo

Emotion Requirement:

Marking: Focused attention and a genuine desire to find, protect, or understand the target.

Tracing: Patience and steady concentration; agitation can muddle readings.

Side / Miscast Effects:

The target may experience a significant emotional shock later.

The energy trail begins to fade, becoming jagged and harder to read.

The Wáni might attempt to track multiple marks without rest, leading to confusion.

The melody can induce headaches, confusion, or weaken over time if played improperly or excessively.

Manifestation:

During Mark: The bracelet glows green, and a small diamond-shaped energy fragment flies out, attaching to the target. Green sprinkles drift into the air, visible only to the Wáni.

During Trace: The bracelet glows a different shade of green; sparkles and musical notes linger around the Wáni as they track the trail. When moving in the correct direction, the melody becomes louder and more prominent for the Wáni only.

Duration:

Mark lasts between one to three days.

It depends on Wáni’s strength and the marking’s clarity.

Afterward the Echo Trail will gradually fade.

Casting Time:

Mark: 15–30 seconds of direct playing.

Trace: Continuous playing while moving; longer duration increases fatigue.

Range:

Effective over several kilometers in open terrain.

Limts:

The mélodi weakens with distance and obstacles.

In town the range decreases due to emotional “noise.”

Trails can break if the target crosses in areas have dampen sound.
